It
is a common fact that fraud and corruption are endemic in the South African
political and corporate establishments.
It
is however appalling to learn that the largest agricultural union in South
Africa, AGRI SA, is tricking the entire agriculture industry and farmers of
South Africa, and more particularly its own members.
AGRI
SA continuously request emergency funding from the South African Government for
the benefit of drought stricken farmers of South Africa, and publicly accuses
and criticizes the South African Government over the fact:
1. That the SA Government is not doing
enough to provide financial aid to the drought stricken farmers of South
Africa.
2. That fraud and corruption is involved
in the few cases where the SA Government has allocated financial aid to the
drought stricken farmers of South Africa.
Yet,
at the very same time AGRI SA is doing exactly what it accuses and criticizes
the ANC Government about.
International
donors have in mid-2016 responded to AGRI SA’s appeals and donated R1.5 Billion
to the drought stricken farmers of South Africa.
The
R1.5 Billion donation however never reached the drought stricken farmers of
South Africa, as the funds have since been stolen.
AGRI
SA is full aware of this fact for a very long time, but unlike any other credible
and transparent organizations has failed to:
1. Publicly acknowledge and denounce the
scandal,
2. Appropriately deal with the scandal,
3. Protect the best interests of its
members and the overall agriculture industry by revealing the true facts
relating to the R1.5 Billion GABM South African Drought Relief Project donation.
Instead
AGRI SA chooses to rather betray; deceive; and lie to the farmers of South
Africa to protect its corrupt staff, and decided to discredit and defame those
organizations and individuals who have worked relentlessly over several months
to help the drought stricken farmers of South Africa.
AGRI
SA and its executive team are double-dealers and a
disgrace to South Africa.
AGRI SA is also clearly part of the fraud and corruption
problem in South Africa, as appose to be part of the solution!
